SAM Vesty is the new backs coach at Worcester Warriors.
The 33-year-old takes up his new role after 18 months as the club’s academy transition coach.
He replaces Shane Howarth, who left Sixways last week.
Vesty has been instrumental in the development of Warriors’ next generation of first-team stars and oversaw the Worcester Cavaliers side which progressed to the final of the Aviva A-League.
During an established playing career, Vesty made 151 Premiership appearances throughout spells with Leicester Tigers – where he won three Premiership titles – and Bath.
