WORCESTER Warriors will face London Scottish in the play-off semi-finals after slipping to a 30-26 home defeat against rivals Bristol in the final match of the Championship campaign.
Dean Ryan’s men looked in control after opening up a 23-10 lead against Bristol before the sin-binning of Cooper Vuna for an off-the-ball incident changed the match.
Jonathan Thomas was also yellow-carded for Worcester, who finish second in the division – behind Bristol – at the end of the regular season.
Worcester had the consolation of setting a new record crowd - 10,795 - for the regular Championship season.
Worcester will travel to London Scottish in the first leg of their play-off semi-final next Saturday (1.45pm), with the second leg at Sixways on Friday, May 8 (7.45pm).
