WORCESTER Warriors director of rugby Dean Ryan felt his side’s two yellow cards proved crucial in their 30-26 defeat against Bristol at Sixways.
Cooper Vuna and Jonathan Thomas were sent to the sin-bin in the second period as Bristol took full advantage to run out on top.
Bristol have achieved the double over Worcester in the regular Championship season.
Worcester will now face London Scottish over two legs in the play-off semi-finals, with Bristol facing fourth-placed Rotherham Titans.
