IRELAND and Munster veteran Donncha O’Callaghan is being linked with a move to Worcester Warriors.

O’Callaghan has racked up 263 appearances for Munster, wining the Heineken Cup and Celtic League and Cup medals, and been amongst the most popular of players with fans.

O’Callaghan, who has been at Munster for 17 years, has been linked with Warriors by Sixways fans posting on an internet message board.

The vastly-experienced lock has also won 94 international caps for Ireland, made four appearances for the British and Irish Lions and played for the Barbarians in 2014.

He is understood to be on the verge of signing a two-year deal with an unnamed club after Munster apparently agreed to release him from the remainder of his existing contract.
