WORCESTER Warriors are believed to be competing with Toulouse and Grenoble for the signing of Leicester Tigers hooker Leonardo Ghiraldini.
The French media are reporting Warriors' interest in the 30-year-old Italian international hooker.
Ghiraldini played for Petrarca, Calvisano and Treviso in his home country.
He moved to Worcester's Aviva Premiership rivals Leicester last year.
Padua-born Ghiraldini emerged through the age-group teams before turning out for the Italian national team from 2006 and captaining them in the 2010 Six Nations.
He has 80 international caps and turns 31 on Boxing Day.
