WORCESTER Warriors’ players are being put through their paces after returning for pre-season training.
Some of the senior players will be back this week but new arrivals Wil Spencer, a lock who has arrived from Bath, and Matt Williams, the ex-Northampton Saints hooker, have already been getting to know their Worcester team-mates.
Experienced lock Donncha O’Callaghan, back row Matt Cox and centre Max Stelling can all be seen working up a sweat.
Rookie lock Christian Scotland-Williamson has resumed training after getting the all-clear to return to rugby after a long-term pelvic injury.
Scotland-Williamson has not featured for Warriors’ first team since playing 53 minutes against Moseley in the Championship in September 2014.
The new Aviva Premiership season gets under way over the weekend of September 2, 3 and 4 with the fixtures unveiled on July 7.
