PREMIERSHIP rugby club Worcester Warriors are expected to field a star-studded side for a cricket match against Martley Cricket Club at Jewry Field tomorrow (6.15pm).
South African centre Wynand Olivier will be skippering Warriors in the Twenty20 match, while Worcester-born Jonny Arr is set to keep wicket.
Back-rowers Gerrit-Jan van Velze and Marco Mama are poised to feature along with Ryan Lamb, Ben Howard, Niall Annett and Jackson Willison.
The cricket club, who say there will be plenty of parking available, will be running a bar, barbeque and organising a raffle.
The ground is in the centre of the village near to the newly-renovated Crown Inn and next to the village hall.
Warriors’ expected squad for the match: Marco Mama, Ryan Lamb, Gerrit-Jan van Velze, Jonny Arr (wicketkeeper), Perry Humphreys, Ben Howard, Wynand Olivier (captain), Ryan Bower, Huw Taylor, Niall Annett, Jackson Willison, Dewald Potgieter.
