7 Pennell – A few rusty moments on his return to action but looked sharp in the second half and had a hand in Short’s try.

7 Short – Finished off a slick passing move in the final play after being thwarted a few metres shy of the try-line in the first half.

6 Stelling – Still lacking match sharpness after being frozen out for much of last season but showed some good touches in defence and attack.

8 Te'o - Conceded a couple of penalties at the breakdown but scored a well-worked try and delivered an outrageous offload which got the Sixways crowd buzzing.

7 Adams –The Welshman continues to grow in confidence with each match and made a crucial try-saving tackle in the first half.

7 Heathcote – Was combining effectively with his housemate Baldwin until he was stretchered off with concussion after a nasty-looking collision early in the second period.

9 BALDWIN – Full of energy and pace and showcased the wide range of his passing ability before leaving the field with 11 minutes remaining. My man of the match.

7 Bower – Skippered the Warriors side with enthusiasm and held his own in the scrum against a strong Brive pack.

6 Williams – Looked solid until leaving the field after 31 minutes and replaced by Singleton.

7 Daniels – The prop couldn’t be faulted for his energy and gave his all in a hard-working performance.

7 Kitchener – The youngster offered plenty of physicality and carried well. Would have impressed his brother Graham, the Leicester Tigers star, who was watching from the stands.

7 Scotland-Williamson – Strong in the line-out but his match was cut short after hobbling from the fray after 60 minutes with a knee injury.

7 Taylor – The Cavaliers’ captain reads the game well and will have learned from his afternoon’s work against the French side.

6 Xiourouppa – The young flanker only lasted 40 minutes but would have taken plenty from it.

8 Cox – The experienced number eight saw a lot of the ball, carried strongly and would have impressed the coaches.
