SUPPORTERS have given their reaction to the mangement change at Worcester Warriors.

Head coach Carl Hogg has been handed sole leadership of Warriors’ rugby department - just three days after their 57-22 Aviva Premiership hiding at Exeter Chiefs.

The dual management role between Hogg and Nick Johnston has been broken up after a “review of rugby operations’ at Sixways.

Johnston will continue in his role as high performance director.

Here are some views from Warriors supporters:

Two leaders very rarely work in any circumstances. Sole accountability will allows clear tactics whether right or wrong.

Very strange statement, you can read into this in many ways. Should they have gone for another director of rugby after Dean Ryan left?

Will Neal

So they're doing the same things, in the same positions but now they don't have to share an office chair?

Christian Hoare

Forgive me, but what does this mean?

Craig Leddington

I'm confused!

Looks like Hogg has been a bit erked by Johnston and has now been given a bit more freedom to lead.

Interpretation of the statement is that neither Hogg or Johnson have been able to fully concentrate on their respective roles and that this has impacted on their personal delivery, or that in the post-match reviews, fingers have been pointed at each other over the team’s lack of performance or reasons for on field failure have not been forthcoming, so they have returned them to separate roles as they were under Dean Ryan.

Not 100% sure what it means, job share gone wrong?

Craig Leddington

I'm confused!

So basically: 1) Two people cant do a job designed for one person, 2) We should have got a director of rugby.
The decision making process needs a re-think. I think the ambitions are still there but the realism is lacking in parts. Outside of rugby, the club is becomming a better financial investment. On the pitch is the worrying part. Need some direction and proper coaching structure in place. European campaign is showing a lack of depth, which is really not helped by our mounting injury list. More worryingly our academy seems to be about five steps behing all the others. We've had some seriously good talent come through and step up where needed. But there is a gap beginning to build.
