STRENGTH and conditioning coach Jamie Bain is understood to be joining Worcester Warriors.

Bain has been working at Aviva Premiership rivals Gloucester since the 2012/2013 campaign and is believed to be making the switch to Sixways.

He worked at Kingsholm with Paddy Anson, who left Gloucester last summer before taking over as the head of strength and conditioning at Warriors in January.

Bain joined the Cherry and Whites after two years as a strength and conditioning coach with Championship outfit Bedford Blues.

Bain earned his sports conditioning and coaching degree at Hartpury College and spent a year's internship at the Ospreys when they won the Pro12 title.

He has completed a masters degree in strength and conditioning at Middlesex University.

Former Warriors and Gloucester flanker Matt Kvesic, who is joining Exeter Chiefs this summer, praised Bain's work.

“Not many of these blokes knocking around. A very good man. Worcester (have) signed themselves a corker.”
