Worcester Warriors.

5 Adams – spilled the ball on a couple of occasions and hesitated close to the tryline when he looked almost certain to score late on.

7 Humphreys – recovered from a sloppy start with two second-half tries as Warriors almost pulled off a last-gasp victory.

6 Willison – livelier with ball in hand than previous weeks and combined well with Te’o, but his kicking lacked direction at times.

8 TE’O – one of the best players on the pitch with his pace and power asking questions of Gloucester’s defence all evening. My man of the match.

7 Heem – a determined showing from the wing who did well to stop Thorley touching down in the corner and contributed in attack.

7 Mills – returning from injury, the fly-half gave Warriors much-needed direction and slotted home three penalties, but missed two conversions.

5 Stringer – in for the injured Jonny Arr, the scrum-half seemed a little off the pace and was replaced by loan signing Jono Kitto who was far sharper.

6 Bower – lasted 54 minutes before being substituted after a strong effort in the scrum which held up well against Gloucester.

6 Singleton – was swept aside by Twelvetrees in the lead up to Thorley’s second try and had a mixed afternoon in the set piece, but plugged away.

7 Alo – continues to impress in the number three shirt as he got around the field well, using his huge frame to great effect.

6 O’Callaghan – the decision to send him to the sin-bin within the first five minutes seemed harsh, but it cost Worcester dear as Gloucester got off to a flier.

7 Phillips – stepped up to the plate, securing two turnovers, before pulling up injured after making a lung-busting run from deep.

6 Fa’osiliva – replacing the crocked Matt Cox, the back rower crashed forward on several occasions, but handling errors crept into his game.

6 Lewis – got off to a decent start before picking up an injury on the half-hour mark. His replacement Denton did a fine job in his absence.

6 van Velze – contributed to Gloucester’s misery in the lineout with a couple of steals, but made a crucial knock-on in the few final minutes.
