Worcester Warriors

8 Pennell – rarely put a foot wrong all afternoon as he was solid under the high ball, tackled well and was positive in attack.

7 Howe – making his first appearance for Warriors, the wing made an impression in the second half after a quiet first 40 minutes.

6 Olivier – made his long-awaited return to the starting line-up, but looked rusty as he made several uncharacteristic mistakes.

Te’o – hobbled off with an ankle injury in the first three minutes, but his replacement Lance did an excellent job, directing Worcester around the field.

6 Humphreys – made a couple of breaks into Brive’s half, but made far too many errors and his knock-on at the death summed up his day.

6 Shillcock – got the back-line moving in a four-try victory, but struggled with his kicking game with Lance taking over responsibilities from the tee.

7 Arr – continues to produce the goods in the number nine shirt with accurate passing and gave Warriors good field position with his kicking.

7 Waller – atoned for his mistakes in the scrum with a barnstorming performance in the loose which was rewarded with a 61-minute try.

9 TAUFETE’E – a day to remember for the hooker who helped himself to a hat-trick of first-half tries, capping off a strong all-around performance. My man of the match.

7 Milasinovich – the set piece was a prominent feature in the match and the tighthead stepped up to the task, holding his own against a power-packed Brive side.

7 Phillips – despite suffering an early blow, the lock picked himself up and threw himself into every challenge and carried strongly as well.

6 Scotland-Williamson – making his first start, the giant second row helped disrupt Brive’s lineout before going off with a shoulder problem.

6 Taylor – conceded a silly penalty straight after Warriors’ first try, but the young forward worked his socks off against physical opponents.

8 Lewis – an all-action display from the flanker who got through a lot of defensive work but also added to Worcester’s attack.

7 van Velze – reclaimed the captaincy and led Warriors well, utilising their driving maul which the number eight played a key role in.
