HEAD coach Carl Hogg has made two changes to the Worcester Warriors side ahead of tomorrow’s European Challenge Cup clash with Oyonnax at Stade Charles Mathon (7pm GMT).

Chris Pennell comes in at centre while Simon Kerrod is given a start at tighthead as Hogg keeps faith with the majority of the side who dispatched Oyonnax 35-14 at Sixways last Saturday.

Ryan Bower will again captain the side from the front row alongside Kerrod and Joe Taufete’e while Darren Barry and Pierce Phillips start in the second row.

David Denton continues at number eight and will be joined in the back row by Huw Taylor and Andrew Durutalo.

There is plenty of pace in the backline as Ben Howard retains his place at full-back while Tom Howe, fresh from his two-try heroics at Sixways last weekend, starts on the wing as does Perry Humphreys on the opposite side.

Pennell will partner Max Stelling in midfield with the latter looking for his 10th European try as he prepares to make his 22nd appearance in the competition.

Josh Adams comes onto the bench as Dean Hammond drops out of the squad due to a head injury.

Warriors: Howard; Howe, Pennell, Stelling, Humphreys; Olver, Dowsett; Bower, Taufete’e, Kerrod, Phillips, Barry, Taylor, Durutalo, Denton. Replacements: Haupt, Milasinovich, Alo, Faosiliva, Williams, Baldwin, Shillcock, Adams.
