WING Josh Adams has been given another chance to shine on the international stage after being called up for Wales duty this summer.

The Worcester Warriors star has been named in a 31-man squad for Wales' clashes against Argentina and South Africa next month.

Adams’ selection caps off a stunning season for the back who finished joint top try-scorer in the Aviva Premiership after crossing the whitewash 13 times.

The 23-year-old also made his debut for Wales in this year’s Six Nations as he played against Scotland at the Principality Stadium before facing England at Twickenham.

Wales take on South Africa in Washington DC on Saturday, June 2 before tackling Argentina at the Estadio del Bicentenario on Saturday, June 9 and at the Estadio Brigadier Lopez on Saturday, June 16.

Head coach Warren Gatland said: "This summer is a great opportunity for this squad to build on their experience, get test match game time under their belt and face Rugby Championship opposition.

"We have picked a squad of 31 to try and give players as much game time as possible.

"It shows the depth we have built in recent years that we have just one uncapped player in the squad in Tomos (Williams).

"But he has been in a number of squads so knows the environment well.

"We have picked Cory (Hill) and Ellis (Jenkins) as co-captains. They are both leaders and have experience captaining at regional level so this is an opportunity for them to build on that.

"This summer is another step on our 2019 RWC path and a great opportunity to build on recent campaigns."
