Warriors' ratings v Harlequins

Latham: Assured in defence and some wily tactical kicking. Set up Benjamin’s try with a slick pass.7.

Pennell: Struggled to get involved in the game as both defences were on top and the ball rarely went out wide.6.

Rasmussen: Diminishing pace was exposed by opposite number George Lowe and was lucky it didn’t cost a try.6.

Tuitupou: A real presence in midfield and ran powerfully and intelligently to put Worcester on the front foot.8.

Benjamin: Despite not seeing a lot of ball in good positions, showed good instinct to take his try nicely.7.

Jones: First start for a while after Willie Walker’s injury and played on the gain-line and passed the ball intelligently.7.

Arr: Too often was caught dithering at the breakdown and cost his side good field position on at least two occasions.6.

Mullan: Promoted to the starting XV in place of the in-form Adam Black and held his own in the first-half battles.7.

Fortey: Line-out throwing was wayward and cost his side on more than one occasion when they were well placed.5.

Taumoepeau: Rock solid scrummaging from the Tongan tighthead and he won several penalties for his side too.8.

Rawlinson: Worcester’s enforcer was a combative presence before making way for Graham Kitchener.7.

Gillies: Fortey and Lutui’s off-target throwing made life difficult in the line-out, but he worked hard round the park.7.

Wood: Let his team-mates down again with a high tackle that led to Rory Clegg’s match-winning penalty.5.

Sanderson: To the fore in the tackle-count, but needs to influence his players’ discipline and decision-making.7.

Horstmann: Quins did well to often disrupt the Worcester scrum put-in, but Horstmann controlled well at the base.7.

REPLACEMENTS: A Black (Mullan, 47), Lutui (Fortey, 47), Sourgens (Taumoepeau, 79), Kitchener (Rawlinson, 57), Cracknell (Wood, 70), Grove (Rasmussen, 66). Not used: Powell, MacRae.
