ILLNESS-hit Worcester Warriors extended their torrid Aviva Premiership away record with a 32-9 defeat at Bath.

Fly-half Andy Goode had to drop out of the game 10 minutes before kick-off and he was just one of half-a-dozen players hit by an overnight sickness bug.

Goode's replacement Danny Gray was struggling too, but managed to deputise at number 10 and kicked three penalites, but Bath raced to a comprehensive victory with 19 unanswered points in the second-half.

Up until the break, it had been a close contest with the hosts just going to the dressing room with a 13-9 advantage at the interval.

However, with Bath down to 14 men early in the second-half, Aleki Lutui was held up over the line and Bath went straight down the other end to score.

That Tom Biggs try broke Worcester's resistance and the hosts were able to run in a total of five scores to claim maximum points.

Warriors' discipline was once again a major talking point with Dean Schofield, David Lemi and Craig Gillies all being yellow-carded.

The five-try defeat ensured Warriors are without a league win on the road since the New Year's Day victory at Wasps way back at the beginning of 2012.
