MILES Benjamin admits everyone at Worcester Warriors is angry that they don’t have a 100 per cent home record in the Aviva Premiership.
Ahead of next Tuesday’s sold-out home clash with Leicester Tigers, winger Benjamin insists Warriors could have won all of their matches at headquarters so far this term.
The England Saxons flier, 23, said: “The Leicester game has sold out already and will definitely be our biggest game of the season so far.
“It is a chance for us to reinforce our home record.
“We’re very annoyed that we don’t have a 100 per cent home record as we’ve been in control of every game we’ve played here.
“The way we lost against Harlequins and Wasps still irritates us, but we have to move on from that.
“We need to get to the point where Sixways is a place other teams fear.
“Playing Leicester in front of a full house could help to confirm that.”
Benjamin admits returning to top-flight rugby was something of an eye-opener after the title-winning Championship season.
But he feels Worcester are improving game-on-game.
He added: “It has been a challenge coming back up to the Premiership “Everything is a bit quicker and you have less oportunities — but I think we’ve done fairly well.
“Our attack has been getting a lot better week-on-week and it is nice to have had a few home victories as that can give us some momentum.
“A lot of hard work and practice has gone into our attack so we know where our strengths lie and how best to exploit them.
“You want a competitive squad — that’s the only way a team can move forward.
“Everyone is putting their hand up for selection and that is what you want.”
