Two Rugby League stars capped by Great Britain have been charged with assault and using violence to gain entry to a property.
St Helens stand-off Leon Pryce and Warrington Wolves fullback Stuart Reardon, both 26, face the charges in connection with an alleged incident at a house in Queensbury, Bradford last weekend.
They will appear before Bradford magistrates next month.
A West Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: "Two 26-year-old men were arrested in Bradford on the morning of July 13 on suspicion of assault, damage and using violence to gain entry.
"Both men have been charged with using violence to gain entry and assault and have been bailed to appear at Bradford Magistrates on August 6."
A spokesman for St Helens said: "We are aware of an incident. We are trying to get the full facts. Until then, we are making no further comment."
The spokesman said Pryce was expected to play with the team in this week's game against Wigan. "He is in our 19-man squad for Friday," he added.
A spokesman for the Warrington Wolves said: "The club is making absolutely no comment."
The Telegraph and Argus newspaper said both men lived in Wibsey, Bradford and used to play for the Bradford Bulls.
Pryce has had a successful two years at the Saints. His career highs include a spot in the England squad in 1999 and playing for Great Britain in the World Cup a year later. Reardon played for Great Britain in 2004 and is described on his team's website as Wolves' "top tackle-buster".
