Triple bill of music and comedy in city

A TRIPLE bill of award-winning comedy comes to Worcester next week.
The Comedy Zone at the Marr's Bar, on Thursday, April 3, will feature the musical talents of Rob Deering, the dry wit of Matt Welcome and the off-the-wall banter of Jon Richardson.
Deering is familiar to listeners of Radio 2 as the presenter of Out to Lunch. His other television and radio appearances range from BBC 4's Never Mind the Full Stops to Channel 4's RI:SE. Live he proves himself a virtuoso guitar player, with jokes for just about every pop song ever recorded.
Welcome offers impressively taut material, dry sarcastic observation and quick wit. Richardson, who began his stand-up career in 2003, supported Alan Carr's 2006 tour.
Tickets are available in advance from Music City, in The Tything and from the Marr's Bar. The show starts at 8.40pm.
