EVER wanted to play a knight in shining armour?
The newly-formed Evesham Festival Players, who plan to bring open air theatre to the town this summer, have begun read-throughs for their forthcoming production of the Canterbury Tales.
Eric Jones, an experienced director who has worked at Shakespeare's Globe, London, hopes to stage two open air plays this summer, followed by a bigger event in 2009.
Anyone interested can call Eric or Viv Jones on 01386 48788 or go to www. eveshamarts.net for more.
