Mrs Elizabeth Meeks (nee Mullins) of Upper Sapey, is looking for information about her Uncle James, killed in action during the First World War.
She tells us that Private 15336 Edwin James Mullins was born in Winchcombe but was living in Leavesden, Herts, when he enlisted into the 2/8th Battalion of the Worcestershire Regiment.
He was killed on March 21, 1918, aged 29. James was one of the older brothers of Mrs Meeks' father.
She says he has no known grave but is commemorated on the Pozieres Memorial at the Somme.
