In the early part of the First World War letters home were uncensored and told much abpout what was going on at the front, plus shwed a light on thethings men missed from the home front - socially and work wise.
They give a facsinating glimpse into the times and the minds of the men at the front.
The local archive service have kindly agreed to supply some examples but we hope that you or your family may have some letters from the front line that you would be willing to share.

They will be forwarded to the Hive to help build up the public archive and help in displays and exhibitions as Worcesterhsire commemorates the war 100 years on.
