BUSINESSES and groups in Droitwich are being invited to lay wreaths to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War at this year’s Remembrance Sunday service in the town.
A range of wreaths are available and a small donation is requested to cover production and delivery costs.
Organisers are asking for anyone wanting to be involved to get in touch by the end of July, as orders have to be placed in early August.
For more information, contact Katherine Holmes of Forget-me-not Wedding and Events on 01905 921557 or katherine@forgetmenotweddings.co.uk.
Alternatively, pop into the Droitwich Spa British Legion branch in Salwarpe Road or pick up a form from the tourist information centre in St Richard’s House.
