The exhibition at Worcester Art Gallery and Museum in Foregate Street entitled World War One in the Words of Worcestershire People launched on Saturday, October 25 and features a wide range of mementos chronicling the conflict through the eyes of normal people.
As part of the exhibition - part of the county's commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the war - a special remembrance event will be held on Saturday, November 8 including performances by Worcester's poet laureate Fergus McGonigal, artist Kate Brookes and musical education group The Stringcredibles.
The exhibition will be open until March 14 2015.
