A CASUALTY has been taken to hospital following a crash involving a lorry and a car.
One person has been taken to the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch following the incident at 2.24pm today in Badsey Road, Evesham, near the junction with Ashdown Farm.
A spokesman for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "One person was extricated after a road traffic collision involving a 7.5-tonne lorry and one car."
One of the injured, believed to be from the car, had to be immobilised before being taken to hospital said a spokesman for the West Midlands Ambulance Service.
Two ambulances and a responder paramedic attended the scene. Two fire engines, both from Evesham, attended. A further injured person, also from the car, was described as 'walking wounded' and they are being assessed at the scene.
