MICHAEL JAMES PLIMMER It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael James Plimmer on Saturday 19th September. After a period of illness, Mike died peacefully at home surrounded by Family. He was a devoted Husband to Sally for over 53 years and a much loved Father and Grandfather Mick, as He was known to colleagues, worked as a civil engineer at Thomas Vale Construction all His working life moving up through the ranks to become Managing Director and eventually Chairman. He loved His job and was deeply respected and valued by all. He remained a fierce intellect and even more fiercely independent to the end. Mike always enjoyed a good argument and He could build anything. He had a strong sense of responsibility, a quick wit and inherent kindness. He will be deeply missed
