(District of Wychavon - Pershore) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2021 [Prohibition of Waiting on Three Springs Road and Defford Road, Pershore)
Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following sides and lengths of roads in Pershore:
Three Springs Road (north west side) from the centre point of its junction with Defford Road for a distance of 28m in a north easterly direction and 109m in a south westerly direction; (south east side) from its junction with Defford Road for a distance of 90m in a south westerly direction. Defford Road (both sides) from its junction with Three Springs Road for a distance of 18.5m in a south easterly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. On 15 April 2021 Worcestershire County Council made an Order giving permanent effect to an Experimental Order made on 13 August 2020 which will prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of road in Pershore: -A4104 Station Road (east side) from its junction with Gig Bridge Lane for a distance of 30m in a northerly direction; (west side) from its junction with Queen Elizabeth Drive for a distance of 31 m in a southerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 6 May 2021.

The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made. (B4632 Cheltenham Road, BroadwayHTemporary Closure) Order 2021 Order made: Junction with B4632 Station Road for a distance of 1635 metres in a south-westerly direction along B4632 Cheltenham Road up to the County Boundary. Reason: Carriageway patching.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: B4632 Cheltenham Road (Gloucestershire County), B4077 (Gloucestershire County), A46 Cheltenham Road (Gloucestershire County), A46 Cheltenham Road, A46 Evesham Bypass, A44 Broadway Road, A44 Longdon Hill, A44 Pitchers Hill, A44 Evesham Road, B4632 Evesham Road, B4632 Station Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 20 days Commencing: 29 April 2021.
[B4084 High Street, Pershore) (Temporary Closure) Order 2021
Proposed Order to close that part of B4084 High Street from its junction with B4084
Worcester Road to its junction with B4084 Bridge Street.
Reason: Carriageway Works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: B4536 Broad Street, B4536 Defford Road, A4104 Three Springs Road, B4084 Worcester Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 8 days Commencing: 23 May 2021.
(Footpaths PS-564, PS-565, PS-566(part), Pershore, PV-530, Pinvin and WP-508, Wyre Piddle) (Temporary Closure Order) 2021
Order made: to close Footpaths PS-564, PS-565, PS-566(part), Pershore, PV-530, Pinvin and WP-508, Wyre Piddle for their entire length in order to allow works to be carried out on construction of a new road.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken. Alternative route: No alternative route.
The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 1 May 2021.
