Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(Various Roads) Martley, Martley Hillside and Anlcerdine Hill (JO Mph Speed Limit and 40mph Speed Limit) (Consolidation) Order 2018 (Revocation) and (Various Roads, Martley) (30mph and 40mph Speed Limit) Order 2020 On 30 September 2021 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to update and consolidate the 40 MPH speed limit on the following lengths of roads: -
Martley Hillside: B4197 from a point 52 metres south of its northernmost junction with UC64607 Pudford Lane in southerly direction to a point 181 metres north of its junction with B4204. Martley: B4197 from a point 100 metres south west of its junction with UC64628 Jury Lane in a southerly direction to a point 68m north of its junction with Martley footpath MT-682 (formerly known as footpath number 49) UC64619 Kingswood for its entire length. Berrow Green to Knightwick (Ankerdine Hill): B4197 from its junction with A44 to a point 110 metres south of its junction with UC64618 Horsham Lane.
And further to update and consolidate the following 30 mph speed limits: Martley Hillside: B4197 from a point 52 metres south of its junction with UC64607 Pudford Lane to a point 192m north of Martley bridleway MT-511 (formerly known as bridleway number 2). C2243 Home Lane from its junction with B4197 for a distance of 209 metres in a north easterly direction. UC64607 Pudford Lane-from its junction with B4197 for a distance of 60 metres in a westerly direction. Martley: B4197 from a point 100 metres south west of its junction with UC64628 Jury Lane in a north easterly then northerly direction to a point 181 metres north of its junction with B4204. B4204 from a point 187 metres east of its junction with UC6408 (Barbers Lane) in a westerly direction to a point 79 metres north west of its junction with B4197. C22S2 Church Lane and Hope House Lane from its junction with B4204 in a southerly then south easterly direction to a point 41 metres south east of its junction with UC64617 (Lower Hollins Lane). UC64617 Hollins Lane from its junction with C2252 (Hope House Lane) in a westerly direction to a point 88 metres south west of its junction with UC64620 (St Peters Drive). UC64620 St Peters Drive for its entire length. UC64621 Nash Close for its entire length. UC64623 Mortlake Drive for its entire length. UC64624 Vernon Close for its entire length. UC64625 Sandpits Close for its entire length. UC64627 St Peters Drive (second section) for its entire length. UC64628 Jury Lane for its entire length. UC64630 Hastings Close for its entire length. Berrow Green: B4197 from a point 68m north of its junction with footpath MT-682 (formerly known as footpath number 49) southwards to a point 110m south of UC64618 (Horsham). (Newtown Road Area, Worcester) (Bus Lane) Order 2010 (Experimental Variation) Order 2021
On 7 October 2021 Worcestershire County Council made an Experimental Order which will experimentally remove the bus lane on the following road in Worcester-Newtown Road (westbound carriageway) from a point 144m west of the western kerbline of Ronkswood Crescent for a distance of 118m in a south westerly direction. The Experimental Order will come into operation on 28 October 2021 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months.
The Experimental Order has been made to allow an assessment of the effect of the Order before a decision is taken to make it permanent. Documents in relation to this Order can be downloaded at:

(US4118 Comer Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2021 Proposed Order to close that part of U54138 Comer Road from its junction with U54140 Comer Avenue to its junction with U54133 Laugherne Road. Reason: Overhead works by Western Power.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U54000 Oldbury Road, U54133 Laugherne Road and vice versa Maximum duration: 18 months. Anticipated duration: 2 days Commencing: 10 November 2021.
(U64208 Shrawley, Shrawley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2021
Proposed Order to close that part of U64208 Shrawley from its junction with B4196
Shrawley to its junction with C2234 Sankyns Green.
Reason: Carriageway Resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: B4196 Shrawley, C2234 Shrawley and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days Commencing: 8 November 2021.
(C2138 Dilmore Lane, North Claines) (Temporary Closure) Order 2021 Proposed Order to close that part of C2138 Dilmore Lane from its junction with A38 ?roitwich Road to its junction with U41033 Morton Road. Reason: New/Replacement Electricity Cable by Western Power. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A38 Droitwich Road, U41034 Morton Avenue, U41033 Morton Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days Commencing:
8 November 2021.

(Bridleway HT-507, Holt) (Temporary Closure) Order 2020
NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on
9 April 2020 the effect of which is to close that part of Bridleway HT-507, Holt for its entire length, which was due to expire on 20 October 2021 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 20 April 2022 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State.

The Order has been made due to the construction of a new fish pass at Holt Weir. No alternative route available.
