NOTICE OF PROPOSAL The Worcester Citv Council (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Worcester City Council (hereinafter referred to as "the Council') proposes pursuant to its powers under Sections 32, 35 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers and subject to the consent of Worcestershire County Council to make The Worcester City Council (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2022 ("the 2022 Order'). The effect of the 2022 Order will be:
* To revoke the existing Worcester City Council (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2009 and the Worcester City Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Croft Road) Order 2009 (as varied) and to consolidate previous Car Park Orders

* To update the rules and restrictions in the parking areas covered by the previous orders.

* To introduce designated Electric Vehicle Charging Points with associated restrictions at those car parks as identified in the 2022 Order
* To provide one-hour free period of parking for Electric and Hybrid Vehicles whilst actively charging. No other changes to fees and charges are proposed.

* To update payment and ticketing requirements including the use of season tickets and e-tickets.

A copy of the proposed Worcester City Council (Parking Places) Order 2022, map showing the locations and effects of the Order, a statement of reasons and a copy of the previous Orders are available for inspection at the Council's offices at: Customer Service Centre, 89 High Street, Worcester, WR1 2EY between the hours of 09:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday, excluding Wednesdays whereby the hours are 09:30 - 16:00.
