Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (U63206 Zetland Road, Malvem)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Proposed Order: to close that part of U63206 Zetland Road, Malvern from its junction with A449 Worcester Road to its junction with C2232 Graham Road in orderto facilitate footway works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2232 Graham Road, U63224 Moorlands Road, A449 Worcester Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 6 days Commencing: 22 November 2017.

(Green Lane, Upton upon Severn)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Order made:
to close that part of Green Lane, Upton upon Severn from its junction with C2107 Naunton (north end) to its junction with C2107 Naunton (south end) in orderto facilitate Severn Trent works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: Green Lane and vice versa Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing: 1 November 2017.


(Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2017 [Prohibition of Waiting on Lower Howsell Road and Church Road, Malvern]
On 19 October 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Malvern:- Lower Howsell Road (southwest side) from its junction with Church Road for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction. Church Road (north side) from its junction with Lower Howsell Road for a distance of 23.4 metres in a westerly direction; (south side) from its junction with Lower Howsell Road for a distance of 17.4 metres in a westerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 2 November 2017. A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Malvern Hills District Council, Malvern Library, Graham Road, Malvern, Worcs., WR14 2HU, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.
The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.

Footpath Rp-518 (Part), Formerly Footpath 11, In The Parish Of Ripple Confirmation Of Public Path Diversion And Definitive Map And Statement Modification Order 2015

On 7 August 2017 the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs confirmed the above Order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and will modify the definitive map and statement for the area as follows:-The length and entire width of footpath RP-518 (part), in the parish of Ripple to be diverted commences at Ordnance Survey grid reference SO 8638 4044. The path proceeds in a generally south westerly direction, for approximately 11 metres, to then turn to head in a generally southerly direction for approximately 70 metres, following the driveway running past Ryall Cottage and across the rear garden crossing a stile at Ordnance Survey grid reference SO 8641 4036 to continue for another approximately 13 metres to terminate at Ordnance Survey grid reference SO 8642 4036.
The total distance of footpath to be diverted is approximately 94 metres. The new path commences at Ordnance Survey grid reference SO 8638 4044. The path proceeds at a width of 3 metres in a generally east by northerly direction, across an occupation road and verge, for approximately 25 metres. The path then proceeds in a generally South South Easterly direction, through a gap in a hedge at Ordnance Survey grid reference SO 8640 4045, and proceeds at a width of 3m for approximately 27 metres. At Ordnance Survey grid reference SO 8641 4042 the path passes between buildings and hedge, continuing in a generally South South Easterly direction for approximately 27 metres at a width of 2 metres which narrows to a pinch point gap of a width of 1m at Ordnance Survey grid reference SO 8641 before
continuing for approximately 24 metres, at a width of 3 metres, to a gap at Ordnance Survey grid reference SO 8641 4037. The path then continues at a width of 3 metres for approximately 13 metres in a generally South by Easterly direction to terminate at Ordnance Survey grid reference SO 8642 4036. The total distance of the new footpath is approximately 116 metres.

A copy of the Order as confirmed, and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP and at Malvern Hills District Council, The Council House, Avenue Road, Malvern, WR14 3AF during normal office hours. Copies of the Order and map may be bought at County Hall at the price of £7.50. The new path came into force on 4 September 2017. The closure of the old route came into force on 19 September 2017. If a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980 as amended or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made underthe Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice make an application to the High Court.
