IT was ties off and hair down for members of Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce as it held its first ever summer party at West Midlands Safari Park.
Organised to celebrate being crowned Chamber of the Year 2013 at the British Chambers of Commerce Annual Awards, the event was attended by more than 250 guests who enjoyed a hog roast and fun night on the dance floor for an evening to remember.
A raffle was held for children's charity Megan Baker House and money was also raised for the Worcestershire Hospitals Charitable Trust as part of their Worcestershire Breast Unit Campaign.
In addition, the Chamber's chief executive Mike Ashton presented Adam Dziamarski from Clesse UK Limited with a Samsung Galaxy Tablet, his prize for being the randomly selected winner of the Chamber's new website launch competition.
Mr Ashton said: "The summer party was a great event that all attendees thoroughly enjoyed. Being crowned Chamber of the Year was a fantastic achievement that we are very proud of and delighted to celebrate with our members. The Chamber goes from strength to strength, and we intend to remain the best business support organisation for companies of all sizes in the two counties."
