THERE'S been a silver lining to the black cloud for four employees of former Malvern engineering company Dytecna, who lost their jobs after the firm went into receivership in February.
Because they have been taken on by Aerospace and Airworthiness Consultancy Enterprises Ltd, which is based in Bristol, but has opened a satellite office in Welland to accommodate them. The employment is initially on a one year contract.
Opening the new office at Willow End Park, company owner Gaynor Hussey said “I am delighted we have been able to employ these people and locate them near to their homes. They are a welcome addition to our company and bring some new and valuable skills to AACE."
Dytecna was undertaking work for AACE in the technical publications area before it closed. AACE is an aerospace consultancy firm working mainly with the MOD. It employs 37 staff at its Bristol headquarters.
