A WORCESTERSHIRE home builder has announced it will be launching four new sites in the county this year.
The homebuilder David Wilson Homes Mercia, which already has a number of sites in Worcestershire, will be bringing a total of 372 new homes to the county, underpinning 744 local jobs.
As the homebuilder says it largely employs local sub-contractors and tradesmen, local businesses are set to directly benefit.
There will be 75 new homes at Blossom Fields on Post Office Lane in Kempsey, 144 new homes at Chestnut Grange in Evesham, 122 at Gilbert’s Lea in Bromsgrove and 131 at Abbey Gate in Redditch.
Construction has currently started on Chestnut Grange, Abbey Gate and Gilbert’s Lea.
Steve Barton, senior sales manager for David Wilson Homes Mercia, said: “Our new developments in Worcestershire will provide much needed housing in these areas.
"This is also good news for the local economy with the local construction jobs underpinned by building the new homes.”
