A successful Worcestershire property services business which specialises in supporting home owners and landlords manage and maintain their properties is expanding after obtaining funding from NatWest.

Property PA – which stands for Personal Assistant – is a successful Hallow-based business run by the brother and sister team Jarrett and Fern Southall.

The business, which is in its third year of trading, tailors its service to meet customers’ individual property needs and requirements helping homeowners, landlords and letting and estate agents with everything from general property maintenance to inventory clerk services.   Property PA has a good reputation locally and a growing customer base in Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire. To support its continued growth it has obtained a great financial package from NatWest Business Banking after using the free business hotline service.

The NatWest and RBS Business Hotline was established to ensure UK businesses get a fair hearing for their lending proposals and easy, free access to expert advice on the issues they face. The telephone and e-mail service is staffed by experienced relationship bankers and is designed to meet the lending needs of viable UK businesses, irrespective of who they bank with or whether they have been turned down for credit previously.

Through it Property PA was put in touch with NatWest business manager Matt Milisic, who met with Jarrett and Fern, listened to their business needs and designed a financial package to suit the needs of their proposed expansion.

Miss Southall, director of Property PA, said: “Although the current economic climate has proven to be a challenge for many businesses, we have been very successful because of our experience, knowledge, integrity and confidential way of working.

“This has ensured we have continued to grow our private and business customer base and are able to handle all aspects of property maintenance and admin services.  “With our business growing, we needed to obtain some support from a bank, with NatWest and in particular Matt Milisic coming up with a great financial package for us.”

Mr Milisic said: “Although Property PA did not bank with NatWest it was introduced to me through the business hotline which has a clear mandate to scrutinise instances where firms’ lending propositions have been declined and to exhaust every avenue in the search for a responsible lending solution that meets the businesses’ needs.

“I was delighted to meet with Jarrett and Fern, discuss Property PA’s requirements and to develop a financial package which has helped them expand.”

Phil Dutton, director of Business and Commercial Banking for NatWest and RBS in Worcestershire, said: “The support NatWest and Matt have given to Property PA through the NatWest and RBS Business Hotline is a great example of how we are looking to support small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) in Worcestershire and beyond.

“The hotline is only one of a number of important initiatives which have been introduced recently to support small businesses including a £1 billion manufacturing fund, a customer charter, a price promise and committed overdrafts for SMEs.”
