OWNER QUOTE

I was attracted to the Court because of its stunning setting – the apartment is large, airy and full of character, with expansive views over the countryside. From the Court, one can access footpaths without having to set foot on the road, and the Cotswold Way is nearby, as well as good, local pubs. The Court's residents are friendly and there is a welcoming community atmosphere, with neighbours that are more than happy to assist with parcel deliveries, provision of missing cooking ingredients, etc. In the summer, residents regularly gather for drinks in the grounds.

The Court is also well-located, with easy access to the M5 and several local railway stations. Stonehouse, the closest station, has a regular, direct service to Paddington. Stroud (with its famous farmers' market) is close by, and the Cotswolds, Cheltenham, Gloucester and Bristol are all within easy striking distance.

If I did not need to relocate, I would not dream of selling the place, and will miss it dearly.

Haresfield village lies at the foot of the Cotswold escarpment beneath Haresfield Beacon, 215 metres high. The village boasts an excellent primary school and popular public house, The Beacon. The surrounding countryside is a haven for walkers and nature lovers. Whilst Stonehouse provides numerous local facilities, more extensive cultural, educational, shopping and leisure facilities can be found in the nearby towns of Cheltenham, Painswick, Stroud and Gloucester, with Bristol just 30 miles away. Transport links are excellent with the M5 junction 12 just 1.3 miles away and the Intercity main line to Paddington can be accessed at Stonehouse.
