THE later career of Paul McCartney is to be celebrated with a new show at The Artrix in Bromsgrove.
The iconic Abbey Road album came at the height of the Beatles’ success, and the unforgettable picture of the quartet strolling over the level crossing in Abbey Road marked the last chapter in the band’s history.
In April 1970, Paul McCartney announced he was leaving the band and he then went on to form Wings, which went on to spawn a phenomenal 23 singles and 9 albums.
A spokesman for the "Wings Over Abbey Road" show said: "This is a celebration of McCartney’s career. The first half of the show is a live performance of the entire Abbey Road album and the second is an authentic tribute to some of Wing’s greatest hits."
Wings Over Abbey Road is at Artrix on Friday July 15 at 8pm.
