A PERFORMER nominated for Musician Of The Year at last year's BBC Folk Awards is on his way to the Conquest Theatre in Bromyard.
Singer, songwriter and guitarist, Dan Walsh, has been described as "absolutely terrific" by Mark Radcliffe on BBC Radio 2.
Now a local audience will be able to make up its own mind, at a Folk in the Foyer session.
A spokesman said: " As well as many tours of the UK, Dan has also had successful tours in USA, Canada, Germany, India, Norway and New Zealand to his credit. "Having made his name with the duo Walsh and Pound and now a member of the award winning Urban Folk Quartet, as well as guest appearances with Joss Stone, the Levellers and Seth Lakeman this unique and eclectic musician has stunned audiences across the world."
The spokesman added: "In support of the release of ‘Verging On The Perpendicular’ Dan will be touring the UK during 2017, this new album sees Dan revisiting his first musical love, that of traditional Irish and Scottish folk music but as usual with Dan there’s a fairly eclectic range of music."
The date for the diary is Saturday April 29, from 7.30pm.
