REDDITCH singer Keri Whip is heading state side, and LA in particular, to record new single
A spokesman said: "After a blazing 2016 which saw her reach number 9 in the UK club charts and then go on to support Little Mix at the NEC Arena, Redditch’s own pop star Keri Whip is jetting off to sunny Los Angeles next week to work with a top team of music producers.
"Keri, aged 29, will be joining two other artists from The Famous Company for a week of songwriting bootcamps, recording sessions and performance opportunities. Whilst in LA, Keri will be working with an award winning team of songwriters and producers whose credits include hitmakers will.i.am, One Direction, Lauryn Hill, Brian Eno, Joni Mitchell and Sade."
Speaking about the opportunity Keri said, “Taking my music to LA is a dream come true. I've worked so hard and I'm super excited to be given this opportunity. America seems like a tapestry of intrigue and I can't wait to enjoy this new experience”.
When Keri returns to Redditch she has a busy schedule preparing for the release of her new single ‘Immortal’.
