ENGLISH summers may be wet, but Music for Joyous June could prove to be the perfect musical lift for a local audience.
Michael Bochmann and Orchestra Pro Anima will be raising the rafters of Christ Church in Avenue Road, Malvern, with a programme that will include music from the Baroque and Classical periods.
A spokesman said: "Alongside works by Vivaldi, Bach and Telemann there will be a performance of Haydn’s great D major Piano Concerto. The soloists will be Helen Roberts, on the viola and Janine Parsons, on the piano.
"Christ Church has a wonderfully warm, welcoming atmosphere and a splendid acoustic."
The date for the diary is Sunday, June 25, from 3pm.
