If you ever need re-energising there is a simple two hour remedy book tickets for the sparkling, invigorating Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat the timeless Tim Rice/Andrew Lloyd Webber phenomenon that is 'a walking work of art'.

The second youngest brother Joseph and their father's favourite has been played by some star names, Joe McElderry winner of the X Factor in 2009 must surely be up there with the best of them as he showcased his pitch perfect vocals and fine acting ability it was an excellent performance.

The narrator was the fabulous Lucy Kay, from the minute she walked on stage her voice had me hooked and I was not the only one, all around me people were talking about her. In 2014 Lucy was runner up on Britain's Got Talent, snapped up by record label Sony Classical her debut album Fantasia went straight to number one in the classical album charts.

Joseph is a pleasure to watch, the gifted, hardworking, zealous cast blow those blues away filling the auditorium with positive energy - for me this is one of the real feel good factor shows.

There are so many great songs one of my favourites is Benjamin Calypso sung by Darren Charles (Asher) and the vibrant colours of the costumes.

The Joseph Choir is provided by the Bristol School of Performing Arts the children are brilliant.

The production is terrific, just when you think it can't get any better there is the explosive Joseph Megamix finale that had the audience singing and dancing in the aisles, I have seen the show several times in the past and it still delights Go Go Go Joseph... runs until Saturday, 6th May at the Bristol Hippodrome.
