WAYS of developing more links between Upton Music Festival and the town’s community will be explored at a launch event next month.
Now in its fourth year, the festival will investigate a number of initiatives at The Pepper Pot on Friday, March 1 from 11am.
Possible ideas include creating more links with groups in the town, offering free trading spots to businesses and charities and a grand firework display to close the celebration of music.
The festival itself runs from Friday to Sunday, August 23-25 and the likes of Slade, Toyah Wilcox, The Wurzels and Bad Manners have already been announced across two stages.
