IF you have ever wondered how stage shows are put together then take a look behind the scenes at Evesham Arts Centre.
The theatre in Victoria Avenue is looking for volunteers to help run shows and are holding a backstage open day on Saturday, November 8 from 2pm to 5pm.
People interested in volunteering will be able to see the theatre, meet the backstage team and can also see the lighting and sound preparations for the next Marcus Brigstocke gig.
An enthusiastic band of volunteers have helped to put on an exceptional variety of entertainment since the arts centre opened in 1977.
All shows need lighting and sound technicians while some also need stage crews.
No prior experience.
Anyone interested who can’t make it the day should leave a message on 01386 48883 or email tech@eveshamartscentre.co.uk.
