THE cheeky elves from The Courtyard in Hereford have been out and about causing chaos in the town.
Two of the stars from The Elves and The Shoemaker escaped from the theatre in Edgar Street to help out at Jones Bootmaker.
It is the first Christmas Studio show The Courtyard has produced.
It opened on Monday and will run until Wednesday, December 24.
Grumpy elf Corky must look out for young, inexperienced Peeptoe, who gets them both into allsorts of mischief.
The two cheeky elves are on a mission to help the poor shoemaker, Giotto, recover his fortune.
Along the way, some well known nursery rhyme and fairytale characters lend a hand during the festive show for all ages.
David Durant, director of Elves and the Shoemaker, said: “The Elves and the Shoemaker uses stunning interactive shadow puppetry to interact with new and young audiences, many of whom are coming to the theatre for the first time.
"Our workshops in schools also allow for continued creativity in the classroom.
"Don’t miss this magical Christmas show, tickets are selling fast so book your place early to avoid disappointment.”
Families can also join in with The Courtyard’s Elf Hunt over the Christmas period.
Clues can be collected from The Courtyard Box Office and then followed through town to find the elves.
Tickets cost £8, concessions £7 and Courtyard Club £6.50.
To book, or for more information, contact the box office on 01432 340555 or visit courtyard.org.uk.
