THE Worcester based Vamos Theatre, well known for its use of full face masks on stage, is looking for more young people to join its Young People's Theatre group.
It is seeking new members, aged from nine to 14, "who are interested in making exciting, innovative, creative and challenging theatre".
A spokesman said: "The weekly sessions, held at Worcester Arts Workshop, introduce young people to
mask theatre, and provide a solid and creative platform for other theatre and physical theatre skills.
"Young people get the chance to work with Vamos’s professional production team and work towards a performance at the end of term; last year
performing as part of the renowned Physical Fellowship at The Belgrade Theatre, Coventry."
Children from several Worcester primary and secondary schools are already signed up, including Bishop Perowne, Christopher Whitehead, Pitmaston, Stanley Road and St George's.
Sessions start on September 28, and will be held weekly on Wednesdays between 5:30pm and 6:45pm until December 14.
