Of Upton Snodsbury

Passed away suddenly but peacefully on November 6th 2024, aged 88 years.

Beloved husband of Penny, much loved father of James and Sally and a loving grandfather to Lexy, Mark and Leo.

Tony will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

A Service to Celebrate Tony’s life will be held at the Church of St Kenelm, Upton Snodsbury on Thursday December 5th at 1.30pm.

Family flowers only please.

Donations, if desired, for Dementia UK (for the work of The Admiral Nurses) may be left in the collection box at the service, made online via www.ehillandson.co.uk or sent to E Hill & Son Funeral Directors, Pershore WR10 1HZ.

It fills me with great sadness to hear of Tony's passing, I had the privilege of knowing Tony as a member of the Kidderminster and stourport athletics club. (Many years ago now) As a young teenager I enjoyed the sport and he very kindly offered to train me in the high jump. He was an absolutely incredible coach and an even more amazing person. He taught me so many other things during this time and it was a pleasure to have known him. My favourite memory of Tony was the time he turned up to a training session having picked up a pheasant on his drive over. Taking it home for his lovely wife to cook up a roast dinner with!
