YOUNGSTERS had fangtastic fun at the Oxfam book shop in Worcester as part of a series of eerie events.
The charity held a week of activities based on the theme of Halloween to help raise funds for the world’s most deprived people.
From a bone-rattling disco, frightening fancy dress and a mischievous monster competition to Batty and Vamp tic-tac-toe, a hair-raising bat hunt and a haunted horrible hard quiz, there has been plenty of ghoulish goings-on to suit all the family.
The store was also visited by local author Fran Martintroth, who read her new children’s book The Numblevole, and poets Jenny Hope and Sarah Leavesley, who paired up to deliver a spooky creative writing workshops.
