A MAN in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of assault GBH following an attack in a Worcester park yesterday, during which another man received a knife wound to the hand.
Officers were called to Gheluvelt Park yesterday following an altercation between two men, which happened at around midday.
One of the men received a serious cut to the hand, believed to have been caused by a knife.
The park was taped off during the afternoon.
The man remains in custody this morning.
A West Mercia Police spokeswoman said: "Officers believe this is an isolated incident between two parties known to each other, but are appealing for anyone who was in the park and saw what happened to call police on 0300 333 3000 quoting 253s 281112."
