PEACE have been nominated for the prestigious NME Awards.
The four-piece, formerly known as November and the Criminal, continue to prove popular with the long-running publication and are up for the best new band gong.
Other acts vying for the title are Mercury Prize winners Alt-J, Palma Violets, Django Django, Alabama Shakes and BBC Sound of 2013 winners Haim.
Peace will also be opening for Django Django, Miles Kane and Palma Violets on the 12-date NME Awards tour that kicks off at Newcastle O2 Academy on Thursday, February 7 and comes to a close on Saturday, February 23 in London’s Brixton O2 Academy.
The winners will be unveiled on Wednesday, February 27 at the East London venue Troxy.
