CLOSE-harmonies will be served up by some of the Midlands’ leading acoustic musicians who create their own sound.

Mumbo-Jumbo is and eclectic, semi-acoustic piano-led outfit and they return to Ledbury's Market Theatre on Friday, March 1.

Having been nominated in the Best Song Award of the British Blues Awards 2012, they have been busy creating a stir from the Isle of Wight to Lancashire during their touring schedule.

Featuring vocalists Oliver Carpenter, Abby Brant and Chris Lomas the trio combine musical skill with a relaxed and self-deprecating humour.

Having played festivals, blues, acoustic and folk clubs, theatres, weekenders and pubs across the country, they hit the stage at 8pm.

The Blues in Britain magazine said their “musicianship is unsurpassable, and the songwriting is excellent”, while their latest album, The Life of Riley, has received rave reviews and radio airplay for these very reasons.

Tickets are £8.
