A GROUP of children looked to the east when they celebrated the Chinese new year.
Youngsters at Bright Eyes Montessori Day Nursery, Droitwich, enjoyed activities to mark the occasion and to help them learn about China. They made large dragons and created Chinese hats, masks and traditional money envelopes to help celebrate the year of the snake. Pupils also spent the week tasting different Chinese foods.
The nursery’s Michelle Andres said: “All of the children have enjoyed the week.
“They have been taking part in many different activities and have learnt a lot about China and Chinese culture.”
